About Me
Hi there, I am Nicole and I'm so grateful to have you here ☺️
I am a proud midwife and a lucky mummy to 2 beautiful children. I left school to study Midwifery at University of West London in 2013. I qualified as a midwife in 2016 and have been working in my local trust for the last 10 years! I have worked in all areas of midwifery including community, postnatal wards but my favourite place to be is in the action - working in the intrapartum areas and my passion is in providing low risk care. HOWEVER, even if your pregnancy is deemed high risk, then I always try to find ways to bring that low risk element into the birthing rooms to help create that calm and relaxing environment.
☀️ I am in my thirtieth trip around the sun and have been ticking things off my bucket list:
Run a Half Marathon ✅
West End Musical Brunch - booked!
See the Blackpool Illuminations
Do another skydive
(Clearly I'm not doing very well at ticking many things off BUT starting my very own Hypnobirthing business wasn't on the agenda until an opportunity came to me back in January, to which I am SO glad happened because there are some very exciting times ahead).
Since going back to work after my second lot of maternity leave with my daughter, I just felt like I needed more. I love being a midwife but the politics have changed around midwifery. I felt like I couldn't give the best care that I wanted to provide because of the ever increasing demands on the maternity services. I had already dropped my hours to part time after having the children but I still felt the 12.5hour night shifts were too long being away from them. Financially, I have to do nights to be able to support my family and to be honest, I've never been an early bird! But I want to be able to do more for my babies, be less tired, more present so I saw the opportunity to train as a Hypnobirthing teacher and I grabbed it with both hands!
The passion ever since enrolling on the course has just grown and grown and I have so many ideas and thoughts on how to support other expectant parents on the journey through pregnancy and childbirth.
I had 2 vaginal deliveries and both water babies but different stories with each. I didn't do a Hypnobirthing course myself in my own pregnancies but since doing this training, I wish I had! The woman's body is just incredible and with the knowledge and skills you will learn on my course, you will feel so proud, empowered and confident of what you body can achieve.

Me and my babies
Becoming a mum has been the best gift I've ever received and something changed in me the moment my son took his first breath. My purpose had changed. My responsibilities had changed. I was prepared to give absolutely everything in my power to this new, fresh bundle of joy that we had been imagining meeting for a long time. Then his sister arrived and that love doubled overnight! This business is for them so thank you for all your support 💕

My Husband
My husband and I met at the age of 15 when we both attended Air cadets. (Finally) got married in 2022 after COVID moved the wedding 4 times! We have literally spent half our lives together which is insane. We have grown up together and have so many wonderful memories. Our most recent memory being our trip to Nashville, TN - we are big country fans and flying to Sweden in July to see Luke Combs 🎵

The Girls
These are the sisters I gained when I started university. We all qualified as midwives but some of our stories are very different now. What remains is the love and never-ending support these girls show for each other. All but one of us have got married, half the group have started families and we've shared many holidays together. It's so important to have your inner circle of support that will be there for you through the good and the tough times
